Camping Dauphin Island is a great way to experience all that this paradise has to offer. This secluded and pet-friendly beachfront campground is located right on the Gulf of Mexico.
There are 150 sites available at this campground, with 75 of them offering sewer hookups. The park also offers a laundry facility, a shower house, and an RV dump station.
The campsites are well-maintained, and the bathrooms are clean. The only drawback is that they are very close to each other.
We enjoyed our stay at this campground. It has a nice walk/bike path that leads to many of the Dauphin Island attractions.
You can take the ferry to get to Gulf Shores, so you don’t have to drive your car. The campground is a short walk to the beach, and there are lots of restaurants and shops nearby.
Whether you’re traveling in an RV or with a tent, camping dauphin island is a great place to spend your next vacation. The park is affordable and has plenty to do for everyone.
The campground is located within a 155-acre park that is situated so that guests have direct access to a secluded beach, the Audubon Bird Sanctuary, and public boat launches. It also offers 99 full-hookup sites, a campground store, free wifi and an off-leash dog park.
