Camping Pictures – Take Advantage Of Your Time

What’s better than taking camping photos to capture the real life that we live? Pictures bring memories right to mind, even years after the fact. It’s hard for campers to ignore the joy of being outside in the fresh air and warm sunshine, so these timeless images can be a welcome sight to come home to. Even if you never take another camping trip in your life, bringing along pictures of campfire hot dogs and other memorable scenes will always bring back good old memories. Here are a few of my favorite camping photos.

camping pictures

This one was taken by my brother-in-law during his last week of camping before heading to college. We had a wonderful time together, making sure to hit all the camping spots we knew of, as well as hiking a few trails to stretch out our legs. This picture came from a few short months of fun.

This was taken while campers slept in a tee-pee near a large pine tree. My brother-in-law pitched the tent next to ours and then lit the fire. It was a slow-cooking meal of steaks and corn, but every now and then, the campers would peek out of the pine trees to watch the campers below. It’s a beautiful setting, especially coming from the deep woods of Upstate New York. The smell of cooking meat fills the air as campers eat their fill around the campfire.

Another great setting that I love is the morning light shining through a clear blue sky. Camping is great anytime of day, but what is even better at sunrise or sunset is to relax outside under a big shade tree. This photo was taken just after sunrise on a bright day. Campers were chatting and laughing while enjoying breakfast. A perfect time to start the day!

This image is one I cannot forget. Two friends and I made it to a trout creek one day and set up camp with our sleeping bags at our sides. We sat at our campfire, ate some popcorn and looked at the trout as they swam in the cool current. It was a very relaxing and enjoyable afternoon.

As you can see, camping is much more than just staying in the same location and eating peanuts. You need to have a camera to capture these memories, whether they are happening at home or on the road. So next time you go on a camping trip, don’t forget to take a few camping pictures.
